How Triphelper Works
1. Book Your Stay As Usual
View a room or property on your favorite booking site. Most of the largest booking platforms are supported including Booking.com, Hotels.com and Airbnb.
The Triphelper icon in your browser changes between green and red depending if you’re on a supported website.
See the full list of supported websites here.
2. Triphelper Automatically Detects Your Stay Details
Once viewing the listing for your room or property, Triphelper automatically detects details of the listing including the check-in and check-out date and the location of your hotel.
You can look by category and apply filters like min/max prices and minimum ratings before searching.
3. Explore Experiences Curated For You
Filter results further by their subcategories and flags. Order by price and rating. Load more results using the “Find More” button and discover the best things to do near your stay.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Triphelper Handle My Data?
Triphelper does NOT save any of your personal identifying information or card information. Triphelper only finds activities based on the information already available on your hotel or property listing page like the check-in and check-out dates, and the approximate coordinates.
This information is used to find you activities but any information that identifies you is not collected. We do not save the data we collect in a database, instead we use short-term server caching that is frequently cleared to create space.
Please read our Privacy Policy for information on how data is handled.
How Much Does Triphelper Cost?
Nothing! Triphelper is completely free and always will be.
Is Triphelper Being Updated?
Yes! Triphelper is currently in Version 1 but more versions are planned in the future packed with new features and functionality. See below on what that looks like.
Roadmap to V2
New updates for Triphelper in development and will be implemented in future patches. Right now we are working on Triphelper V2, which is slated to be packed with features. This roadmap is subject to change and will be influenced by user feedback.
- Activity Mapping: See exactly where each experience starts in relation to where you’re staying. Filter by distance, view on a map and choose from there.
- Activity Page Generation: Open an optional full-tab results page for more control. Dig into deeper filters and see more options than ever (a workaround for extension-view limits).
- User Profiles: Sign in if you like using your existing Google account. Save your favorite activities, build lists for trips, and get recommendations tuned to your tastes.
- More Providers For More Choices: We’re integrating new activity partners so you’ll see a broader range of experiences.
- Deeper Exploration For Categories: Deepening results in each category for more tailored recommendations. For example, when a user searches the “Food and Drinks” category, they’ll also get local tastings and curated restaurant recommendations from locals.
Note: This roadmap is a living document. Features, timing, and scopes may shift based on feedback. Check back here, or join our mailing list for updates.
